FAQS

  • We have certified lifeguards monitoring our waterfront during swimming hours. If you or someone you know is interested in being a lifeguard, please click here.

  • All camp counselors and volunteers complete a volunteer application, submit references, and receive a background check. We have an amazing team of staff and volunteers that will lead your kids through an incredible week.

  • Because we feel that Christian camping is such a powerful tool that changes lives, The Woods does not want any student’s financial status to stand in the way of an opportunity to come. As the result of the generous suherepport of The Woods friends and financial partners, we are able to provide funds to a limited number of low-income families to help defray the cost of camp. Please download our application here.

  • If you must cancel, we must receive a written request by email at info@thewoodscamp.org or by mail. Refunds are given based on when we receive your cancellation.

More than 7 days before the first day of camp, full refund except $150 deposit.

Less than 7 days before the first day of your camp, no refund can be given.

Medical cancellations: If we receive a doctor’s written verification prior to the start of camp, you will receive a full refund.
